HYBRID FUNDAMENTALS
mastering the time tested basics.
why the Fundamentals?
Whether this is your first time ever in the gym, or first time in a while- the fundamentals of exercise are time tested and proven to be important again and again.
Rather than handing you a program and leaving you to your own devices, our introductory program takes you through warm ups, mobility drills, activation exercises and the primary movements that will build your program. We do this through three introductory one on one sessions before moving into our small group program for a week.
Our goal is to get to know your body and how it works, what is stiff or sore and what needs strengthening to ensure maximum results.
Session 1
We start off with hip mobility and activation drills before teaching the basics to our squat, refining technique as we go.
Next step is our squat accessory work- we go over lunge technique and look to strengthen the core.
Session 2
Holding the same theme, looking to mobilise and activate the shoulder joint and middle back before going through our major upper body movements.
This session we go through our bench press, chin up and other pressing drills.
Session 3
Here we go through more mobility drills for the hips before warming up to spend as much time as needed on the deadlift.
From there it’s on to the hip thrust, more core work and plenty of time for questions about the next step.

our fundamentals program is designed to ensure you learn the essentials To maximise your time spent in the gym.
For the First timer.
One of the most common concerns for new members is that the first sessions will leave them in pain for days, unable to walk.
In our Fundamentals program we aim for the opposite. Our goal is to start building habits that will last and with that in mind, we prioritise the learning side. We build intensity over time but there is no rush. To start with we just focus on the fundamental habits and getting to know how you move.
