Hybrid Transformation

Usually around winter at Hybrid us coaches kick off a twelve week challenge between ourselves to knock a bit of extra cushion off the body, kick our health into gear and essentially just to keep ourselves on track with our own training goals.

The simple truth is- it does get cold in the gym throughout winter and there are a thousand possible excuses to skip training, eat an extra burger and generally live the winter sloth life.


Although we aren’t proponents of drastic “competition themed” transformations the humble before photo serves as an excellent tool at the beginning of a transformation.

Of course we fixate on the things we dislike- a bit of a belly, terrible undies or a sad face. However, the subtle observations will change the structure of the programming completely.

Over the next 16 or so weeks we have agreed to get busy journaling the whole process- the good, the bad, the ugly and the honest. If we have a win we will surely brag about it. A loss, we will accept our fate and reveal. If we blow out with a dirty binge. We will spill.

It is an exciting time and a fantastic way to keep ourselves accountable with the added bonus that by the end of 16 weeks and time to reveal the final product its time for warm weather.
